Finland MULTI-DISCIPLINARY- interactive performance

The rules of “normal” behavior in everyday life are invisible until someone breaks them. And how subtle are they! You just have to eat soup with a knife, and you’ll get stared at.
We have a superfast classification system in our heads, and it has a neat locker for everything. But anomalies, phenomena which do not fit in any predetermined slot, have power to render visible the nodes of branching realities, revealing simultaneously multiple possibilities.
The work done in D’CLINIC is part of my Doctor of Art degree project focusing on everyday anomalies. In the exhibition visitors can add their own anomalous experiences into the database and learn more about the anomalies with the help of diagrams, texts, objects, games and conversations with the researcher.
INSTRUCTIONS 1 : Use the cubes and select a combination of choices, which would be perfectly normal in your life. Start from the question “What?” 2 : Move one of the cubes so, that the previous normal combination changes into a weird one. 3 : Try out the new combination in your everyday life. How will people react?
